Rockwool Slab

Product Description

The uniformity of fiber distribution, the diameter of fibers, the fiber lay pattern and bulk density are some special features of Rockwool slab. Rockwool resin bonded slab consists of long fine fibers spun from molten natural rocks and bonded with a thermosetting resin.Rockwool slabs have the best combination of thermal insulation, fire protection and sound absorption properties.

Compression Resistance

Rockwool Slab are highly resilient and easily regain their nominal thickness after removal of normal compressive load.

Moisture Resistance

Rockwool slabs are good resistant to water Vapour, most common salts and chemicals. when tested as per IS, BS and ASTM standards the material exhibits excellent resistance to moisture absorption.

Acoustic Properties

Rockwool Slabs provide excellent acoustical and noise reduction Co-efficient, due to their high noise reduction co-efficient, they are used in acoustic insulation work for auditoria, theatres, public place and industrial areas where noise reduction is required

Corrosion Resistance

Rockwool slabs do not cause, initiate or promote any kind of corrosion

Fire Resistance

Incombustible when tested as per IS :3144 (Melting Point of fibers is above 1000 °C (1825°F))

Sound Absorption

Excellent Sound Absorption by virtue of its scientific fibre lay pattern ensuring controlled dispersion of air pockets and precise air flow resistance
